Lazio have stalled talks for Maurizio Sarriโs new contract at the club.
Il Messaggero claim that Claudio Lotito is not happy with Sarriโs grumbles about the transfer window and the clubโs signings for the manager. And because of that, the club is not talking about a renewal anymore, even though all seemed set and he was close to renewing till 2025.
The club and the board believe that Sarri can do more with the resources that he has and that is causing disappointment among the people at the higher-ups.
Certain members of the clubโs board feel that the players have convinced themselves that they canโt stick to Sarriโs prefered playing style anymore and they have resigned themselves to that fate already.
