Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic’s agent: “He wants to go to Manchester United”

Lazio star Sergej Milinković-Savić wants to join Manchester United this summer, claims his agent, Mateja Kezman.

While speaking to French portal Foot01, the former Paris Saint-Germain striker, who is also the agent of the Serbian midfielder, said,

“Sergej has no shortage of offers for the summer market. At the moment we have those of Manchester United and PSG. Sergej is focused on the end of the season with Lazio, but he wants to go to Manchester.”

Manchester United have been reportedly keeping tabs on the 27-year-old Serb for a long time. He is seen as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, who could leave the Old Trafford faithful on a free transfer this summer.

It was previously believed that Lazio’s president, Claudio Lotito, would ask for a transfer fee of around €100million for the midfield maestro. But with Milinković-Savić’s contract expiring in June 2024, it is now understood that an agreement could be reached even at €70million. La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Juventus are keenly monitoring the situation.
