Lazio’s Sarri happy to replace Luis Alberto with Inter midfielder

Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri is said to be ready to rely on Luis Alberto but he would like to replace him with Inter midfielder Matias Vecino.

Il Messaggero claim that Sarri is ready to use Luis Alberto against Salernitana but the Italian would be happy to get rid of the Spaniard as early as January.

He’d do that in favour of the signing of Inter’s Vecino, who Sarri really values. So far, Sarri has told Claudio Lotito to pay Inter a compension fee of €2 million to bring the Uruguayan to the Roman club.

Luis Alberto was close to leaving Lazio in the summer but he ended up staying and his relations with Sarri and his suitability to his system isn’t said to be great.
