Liverpool’s Divock Origi to have Milan medical after Champions League final

Liverpool forward Divock Origi will have a medical with Milan after the Reds’ Champions League final against Real Madrid.

Sky Italia have stated that after their Scudetto win, Milan have accelerated on their transfer targets and they have made decisive ground in the move to close the Origi free transfer.

The Belgian is now ‘very close’ to joining Milan and the medical and contract signing will take place after the final on the 28th of May. He could travel to Milan on the 30th of May to undergo all the neccessary processes.

Milan had already sent an email to Liverpool to indicate their desire of signing the forward for free when his contract ends. And this took place after the Belgium international had informed Liverpool of his desire to depart Anfield and not sign a new deal with the Reds.

In 175 games for Liverpool, Origi has scored 41 goals and provided 18 assists.
