Magistrates think Juventus ‘destroyed’ suspicious Cristiano Ronaldo documents

Magistrates and investigators that are working on the case involving Juventus and financial irregularities believe that the Old Lady have destroyed secret documents about secret dealings with Cristiano Ronaldo.

During the raids at the Juventus headquarters last year, the authorities had intercepted telephone conversations about a private agreement concerning the contractual relationship and the debts of salaries of Ronaldo.

Guardia di Finanza did conduct a search for documents relating to Ronaldo but La Gazzetta dello Sport now report that the magistrates believe that the secret documents involving the Portuguese were destroyed by the club officials.

That is because they did find audio evidence about the existence of the documents, which are considered as a ‘body of crime’ and they are considered elements in support of further false accounting practices from the club that helped them record a cost reduction in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 financial statements.
