Man United set sights on Napoli stopper Kim Min-Jae

With the winter transfer window swiftly approaching, Premier League giants Manchester United have set their sights on Napoli stopper Kim Min-jae.

Since arriving from Turkish outfits Fenerbahce for a transfer fee of €18m at the beginning of the campaign, the 26 year-old central defender has played a pivotal within Napoli’s successful run thus far, featuring in all 14 games for I Partenopei within the Serie A before the break due to the World Cup.

As a result of his consistent displays within the back-line that enabled Spalletti’s men to maintain an unbeaten status after many games-played, the Korean international has attracted a great deal of interest from many suitors abroad from Italy.

According to reports from Calcio Napoli 24, Manchester United are assessing whether they should activate Kim’s lucrative release clause of €45m in order to potentially lure the solid defender to the Old Trafford within the near future.

The Red Devils are far from the only club that expresses great interest, as Spanish giants Real Madrid are also eager to submit an attractive offer for the star center-back.
