Agent of Man Utd’s Edinson Cavani on Napoli return: “He would be happy to come back”

The agent of Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has revealed that the Uruguayan would be happy to return to Napoli.

Cavani had left the Partenopei to join PSG in the previous decade but he acquired a cult-hero status at the Naples-based club, something which very few have managed to do.

The striker’s agent and brother Walter Guglielmone spoke to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli and recently and he was asked about whether the forward can return to the Armando Maradona Stadium at some point in the future.

He said: “The return of Edi in the blue jersey? Nobody from Napoli has called us, he loves Naples and would be happy to come back.”

This comes after Cavani has been linked with a move to Salernitana in recent days, with reports claiming that he has a good relationship with the club’s sporting director Walter Sabatini. Fiorentina had also drawn links with the Uruguayan, who sees Batigol as a role model.
