Manchesteer United have joined Tottenham Hotspur in the chase for Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Bastoni’s profile is very popular in the Premier League and Spurs have already initiated contact for the signing of the Italian international, who started for Gli Azzurri against Hungary.
While Spurs have not made a concrete offer yet, United have also moved for the defender in the last few hours. Both the sides are looking at left footed centre-backs and they could also join the race for Sven Botman, who seems close to a move to Milan but the English giants have sizeable budgets to sign players of that profile.
But both of their priority is Bastoni but Milan’s move for Botman is also at risk because interest from not just Spurs and United but also from Newcastle United. The Rossoneri fear an auction opening up for the Lille centre-back, even though they have already agreed personal terms with him.
