Manchester United have made ‘indispensable’ offer for Napoli’s Osimhen

Manchester United have reportedly made an offer for Napoli’s Victor Osimhen amidst interest from Arsenal and Newcastle United.

La Repubblica‘s Naples edition has reported about Osimhen’s situation today, claiming that yesterday afternoon, there was a meeting with Aurelio de Laurentiis and Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda. The agent had an offer on the table from United, who have offered more than €100 million for the Nigerian forward regarding a summer transfer.

United have now put themselves in an advantageous position – ahead of Arsenal and Newcastle United. The player would be interested in an adventure in the Premier League. As things stand, the player is only interested in finishing the season well with Napoli before deciding his future.

Osimhen’s future is why Napoli are accelerating talks to hand Dries Mertens a new deal, with Gianluca Scamacca and Giovanni Simeone mentioned as potential replacements.
