Manchester United’s John Murtough in Turin for talks involving Juventus’ Adrien Rabiot

Manchester United’s director of football John Murtough was recently in Turin to hold talks regarding the club’s move for Adrien Rabiot.

Goal Italia’s Romeo Agresti has provided an update about the situation, claiming that Murtough had flown into Turin earlier today but there has been no agreement yet between the Red Devils and the mother-agent of Rabiot – Veronique. But United are continuing to press to sign the Frenchman this summer.

This comes after it was reported recently that Rabiot has demanded a hefty wage in his potential United contract and it has been reported that he is even considering running out his Juve deal and leaving the club for free next summer. A fee between the two clubs has already been agreed but issues continue to arise on the personal terms front.

Rabiot failed to impress at the Old Lady and has also been criticised a fair amount of times by Juventus fans.
