Manchester United’s offer for Bologna’s Marko Arnautovic has been rejected.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about United’s interest in Arnautovic, claiming that while United were pressing for the Austrian, his offer has been pegged back.
The Red Devils offered around €8 million to €9 million to sign the forward, but the attempt was rejected by the Rossoblu. Bologna are currently resisting United’s attempts for the striker – the same as what they did for Juventus.
Erik ten Hag knows Arnautovic very well from his time at Dutch side Twente and he is said to be appreciative of the Austrian’s qualities. This comes after it was reported that Arnautovic would be fascinated by the idea of returning to England, where he spent time with West Ham and Stoke City.
He did well for Bologna last season, as he managed to score 14 times in Serie A and impressed a fair bit under Sinisa Mihajlovic.
