Marko Arnautović’s agent: “Juventus and Manchester United came forward”

Manchester United reportedly made a couple of concrete bids to lure Marko Arnautović away from Bologna in the last summer transfer window.

According to the striker’s agent Tiziano Pasquali, Juventus were also interested in the former West Ham United forward. Speaking Gianlucadimarzio.com, Pasquali said:

“Juventus and Manchester United came forward. From the English club, we received a written proposal. And the negotiations continued even after some contrary opinions from their fans. But in the end, it was Marko who chose not to drag it out too long and to stay in Bologna. How can you think that he is now in a bad situation here?”

Since the start of the 2022/23 season, Arnautović has been outstanding with his numbers, having scored six goals from nine matches in Serie A thus far. Though, Bologna’s collective efforts have not matched the marksman’s form, with the Rossoblù currently standing 17th in the league table with seven points from nine games.
