Merih Demiral is now set to return to Juventus from his loan spell at Atalanta.
Demiral had spent the 2021/22 season on loan at La Dea and he had a rather decent spell at the club, who did finish outside the top seven in Serie A in what was a very disappointing campaign.
While rumours have been swirling around Demiral, Gianluca di Marzio has confirmed that Demiral will not be signed by Atalanta on a permanent basis and Juventus will be receiving their player once again this summer. This is because La Dea do not seem willing to make an attempt to sign him on a permanent basis.
But it is stated that even though he will return to the Bianconeri, his future may still be uncertain and he will soon think about his future at the Old Lady. The 24-year-old made 28 appearances in the 2021/22 season while also scoring once for La Dea.
