Milan advance in move for Bordeaux’s Jean Onana

Milan are now making progress in their move for Bordeaux midfielder Jean Onana.

The Rossoneri have been looking to sign a midfielder this summer but have failed to do so, with reports putting out multiple names of targets.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that a move for Onana is making progress and in Bordeaux’s recently game against Grenoble, he didn’t feature for the club and that is considered to be a good sign by the Diavolo.

The agent of the midfielder will be in Bordeaux to potentially help close a deal for Milan, with an initial loan deal with the option to buy being looked at. But Milan are also looking to make an offer worth around €6 million to sign the midfielder right away on a permanent basis.

There is a lot of confidence that the deal will close and the alternative remains Aster Vranckx, who has also been linked with the club.
