Milan agree to meet with Sassuolo over three targets amid Premier League interest

Milan have reportedly fixed a meeting with Sassuolo after Easter as the Rossoneri want to conclude the deal for three Neroverdi stars.

In today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, it has been claimed that Milan want to meet the representatives of Sassuolo to discuss the summer moves for Gianluca Scamacca, Domenico Berardi, and Hamed Traoré. Owing to Rossoneri’s recent struggles in front of the goal, there have been talks of renovating the entire frontline.

Berardi, 27, is considered a key target for the seven-time European winners. The former Juventus man has been on Milan’s radar for a long time, but the club is not satisfied with Sassuolo’s asking price of €30million for the Italy international. They want to lower the amount through negotiation.

Scamacca is considered Milan’s potential replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has missed a considerable amount of matches in the 2021/22 season due to fitness issues. Several Premier League clubs are thought to be interested in Scamacca, with rumours suggesting that Sassuolo have already received a bid of more than €40million for the 23-year-old striker.

The Rossoneri representatives are scheduled to meet their counterparts and discuss the issues after Easter.
