Both Milan and Newcastle United are now said to be annoyed at Lille, as the Sven Botman transfer saga rumbles on.
It has been reported recently Newcastle have come close to meeting Lille’s price tag for Botman. Milan though, are much further apart from Lille’s valuation but they already have an agreement on personal terms with the Dutch defender and they held a meeting with the player’s entourage recently.
Daniele Longo has now stated that Lille’s asking price and their insistence of raising their asking price regularly is annoying both the suitors. In England, it has been reported that the Magpies have issued a take-it or leave-it offer for the player. But Longo notes that Lille’s strategy is causing issues and tensions at Milan too.
The Rossoneri are not intending to move too much from what they have offered because they have already agreed personal terms with the defender. The saga is now moving to another phase.
