Milan considering Divock Origi’s future

Milan are considering the future of their summer signing Divock Origi following another injury that has been picked up by the Belgian.

Origi’s contract at Liverpool ran out at the end of the previous season and he joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer. But the striker’s contributions at Milan have been very limited because of injuries and fitness issues.

Daniele Longo has reported that while Ismael Bennacer’s new contract is a priority for the Rossoneri, he is now very likely to sign a new deal at the San Siro. But the club is also making other considerations and other moves, with the January transfer window only some days away.

It is stated that Origi’s injury has led to some reflections at Milan and they are considering his future, with regards to the injury issues. His future is uncertain, for the time being. And because of his injury, Milan could block a potential loan exit of Darko Lazetic or they could bring in another centre-forward in January.
