Milan full-Back Theo Hernandez set to feature in Juventus clash

After a recent period of being held at bay, the Milan full-back Theo Hernandez is set to resume action on the pitch and feature in the Rossonerri’s upcoming clash against Juventus within match-week nine of the Serie A.

Due to a strain that was suffered within his side’s 2-1 defeat to Napoli prior to the international break, the French international was unable to take part in Milan’s recent outings against Empoli and Premier League outfits Chelsea.

However, the Frenchman has shown progress after being absent due to his sustained injury as the 25 year-old full-back returned to training with the entire squad ahead of the Rossonerri’s preparations for their next league fixture, as reported by  Sky Italia

So far this season, Theo has played vital role within the left-back position as he amassed a one goal and two assists  in nine appearances across all competitions. The Frenchman has proven to be pivotal within Milan’s build-up within the attacking phase along the flanks.

Following the underwhelming form of full-back pair Fode Toure and Sergino Dest, Pioli hopes that the explosive defender can reach his peak in terms of performance quickly in order to provide the necessary reinforcements and depth within the back-line, allowing the Rossonerri to maintain themselves along the path towards defending their Serie A title.
