Milan are now in advanced contacts with Sassuolo for their right-winger Domenico Berardi.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Milan’s chase of Berardi is now gathering pace and the move is coming closer too. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are talking to Sassuolo about a potential deal, with talks between the clubs at an advanced stage.
The fee is expected to be a substantial one and could be at around €30 million. Talks have been held previously between the two parties regarding a move and it now seems to be edging closer.
Berardi had asked for a transfer in the summer of 2021 and Fiorentina were heavily linked with him till January. But La Viola couldn’t make a move and Milan were also linked with the Italian since that time.
