Milan confirm Jens Petter Haugeโ€™s permanent transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt

Milan have reached an agreement with German club Eintracht Frankfurt over the permanent sale of Jens Petter Hauge.

The Norwegian joined Frankfurt last summer on a season-loan loan with an option to make the deal permanent. The Bundesliga outlet has triggered the option to buy the 22-year-old permanently. The official statement from Milan reads,

โ€œAC Milan can confirm that Jens Petter Haugehas joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a permanent basis after his loan deal from last summer turned into an obligation to buy following the completion of certain prerequisite conditions throughout the season.

โ€œThe Club would like to congratulate Jens Petter for the recent victory in the Europa League and wish him all the best for the future.โ€

In the 2021/22 season, Hauge accumulated three goals and two assists from 38 appearances for Die Adler in all competitions. Although he was not a standout performer for them, the youngster has seemingly done enough to earn himself a permanent transfer to Germany. Beating Rangers in the final, Frankfurt won the UEFA Europa League title a fortnight ago.
