Milan reach an agreement with Lille for Renato Sanches

Milan’s marathon-esque pursuit of Lille’s Renato Sanches has evidently come to an end, with the Rossoneri reportedly having reached an agreement with the French club.

According to La Repubblica, Milan have reached an agreement with Lille over the signing of Renato Sanches for a deal of around €20million this summer. Since Franck Kessie decided to leave the Rossoneri, Milan have been keeping tabs on the Portuguese sensation.

It was previously reported that there was a gap between Milan’s offer for the player and the valuation put forward by the Ligue 1 side. In addition to that, the 24-year-old midfielder reportedly had some doubts regarding the wage package offered by the Italian club.

But the recent reports have suggested that Milan have received a green light from both the selling club and the entourage of the former Bayern Munich star.

Now that the agreement over the player’s valuation is reached, it is understood that Sanches will soon arrive in Italy to undergo his medical and sign a reported €5million contract until June 2026.
