Milan have now made contact with Jorge Mendes to potentially secure the signing of Lille’s Renato Sanches.
Daniele Longo has reported about the situation of Sanches, whose transfer away from Lille continues to hang in the balance. The Rossoneri still have the firm conviction about signing the midfielder and they are still working hard to secure the signing.
A fee with Lille has already been agreed, with Milan having agreed to pay €15 million plus bonuses for the Portuguese. Sanches’ preference though, is joining Paris Saint-Germain and he is enthusiastic about the idea of playing under Christophe Galtier once again.
Milan, as a result, held a meeting with Jorge Mendes recently, and an opening has been left despite Sanches’ current preference for PSG. Sanches knows that he will not wait for PSG indefinitely, with the French giants yet to call him regarding the move. Unlike PSG, Milan are trying everything to make the move possible.
