Milan seek an agreement with Spurs for Japhet Tanganga

Milan want to sign a centre-back before the end of the summer transfer window. Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga is considered an option for the Rossoneri.

According to transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan are pushing their idea of signing Japhet Tanganga on a loan deal with a right of redemption.

The Italian side is determined to reach an agreement with Spurs over the transfer of the Englishman as soon as possible.

The report understands that Milan continue to make contact with the entourage of the defender. Getting approval from the player’s party remains the priority for the Rossoneri management at the moment.

As soon as they get that green light from the player, Tanganga’s agent could push the London-based club to accept Milan’s proposal. As per other reports, Antonio Conte doesn’t see the defender as part of his first-team plans, leading his suitors in Milan to believe that a loan deal could be struck with the Premier League club for the 23-year-old amid this latter stage of the summer transfer window.
