Milan set to profit from Lucas Paqueta’s potential move to Premier League side West Ham

Premier League outfit West Ham have stepped up their pursuit for former Milan player Lucas Paqueta who now plays for French outfit Lyon.

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri installed a 15% stake on the resale value of the Brazilian when he left for France in 2020 after a season at Milan.

West Ham recently presented an offer of €40 million to Lyon for the 24-year-old midfielder. The Hammers have offered an increased bid keeping in mind the stake possessed by Milan on the player and to knock out such barriers when it comes to satisfying Lyon with the amount. The player’s agent was in London recently to potentially facilitate a transfer to the London-based side.

Milan are expected to get at least €6 million provided the transfer goes through and may facilitate the loan deal of Japhet Tanganga with the Rossoneri expressing serious interest — per a report from Daniele Longo.
