Milan tempting Real Madrid and Manchester City stars under new ownership

The imminent arrival of Investcorp as the new owners could help Milan lure superstars away from European heavyweights.

According to a report from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan could tempt the likes of Raheem Sterling, Marco Asensio, and Isco to sign for the Italian club in the approaching summer transfer window.

As per various reports, the Bahrain-based firm is likely to acquire the ownership of Milan for a reported sum of $1.1billion in the next few weeks.

It has also been claimed that the new owners could allow the management to spend around €300million on new transfers this summer. Milan have been following Asensio at Madrid for a long time. Under the new ownership, the Rossoneri would reportedly like to make a final push for the Spaniard.

The report understands that both Sterling and Isco are intrigued by the idea of playing for Milan. While Sterling’s contract at Manc City expires in June 2023, Isco will leave Madrid for free after the expiration of his terms at Santiago Bernabéu this summer.
