Milan to contact Chelsea for Hakim Ziyech in August

Having completed the coveted summer transfer of Charles De Ketelaere, Milan now wish to turn their eyes toward other targets, including Hakim Ziyech.

According to journalist Daniele Longo, Milan will make a concrete attempt to sign Hakim Ziyech from Chelsea in the second half of August.

The Rossoneri wish that no club decides to join them in the race for the former Ajax superstar at that time. As per the report, Milan share a fantastic relationship with Chelsea, which could help them swiftly complete a deal for Ziyech.

Milan are interested in signing the 29-year-old attacker on loan plus the right of redemption this summer.

It will be difficult for the holders of Scudetto to complete a permanent move in the ongoing transfer window, but the right of redemption will allow them to make the deal permanent in future.

Milan have been showing interest in the playmaker for a long time. And the report understands that Ziyech is also willing to join the Italian club.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Premier League side is willing to loan the player, given that they have already sanctioned a loan deal for Romelu Lukaku and are hoping to do the same for Timo Werner.
