Milan’s Ibrahimovic considering retirement

Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is reportedly considering retirement from football.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have talked about Ibrahimovic’s future at the Rossoneri and in general. They claim that while the final decision does lie with the Swedish star, the idea of retiring from the game is becoming more and more concrete everyday.

He is focusing on the Scudetto race with Milan now, he will take the physical and psychological stress of playing at 41 into account at the end of the campaign. The alternative would be to take a pay cut and sign a new deal with Milan again.

Both the Rossoneri and Sweden are happy to offer him post-playing roles but the final decision is all upto him and potential retirement is now a possibility. Milan haven’t put anything on the table yet as they are waiting for a sign from the player.
