Milan’s meeting with Sassuolo for Berardi imminent

Milan are expected to hold talks with Sassuolo over a potential move for Domenico Berardi soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the meeting between the two clubs is currently ‘imminent’ and it is expected to happen soon, although no today or exact time has been revealed.

Berardi is currently the ‘hottest’ name on Milan’s shortlist, with Sassuolo demanding a fee of €30 million to let him leave in the summer. The Rossoneri do not want to pay that much of an amount and that is why they want to either drive the price down or come up with ways to structure the deal.

They could use a similar formula that Juventus used, when they signed Manuel Locatelli last summer through a highly structured deal despite facing obstacles on the way.
