Monza director Adriano Galliani: “Pablo Mari’s life is not in danger”

Monza’s managing director Adriano Galliani has confirmed that despite a stab wound, Pablo Mari’s life is not in danger.

Mari was stabbed in Milan, along with four others by a 46-year-old man. Three of those people are said to be a serious condition, with one said to have lost his life as well.

Galliani spoke to TG2 (via TMW) and he revealed some details about the incident and how Mari is recovering from the wounds and trauma.

The Italian stated: “Unfortunately, I received terrible news, the store cashier died. As for Pablo Marì he had a fairly deep wound on his back, a penetrating one, which however did not touch vital organs such as lungs or others. His life is not in danger. He certainly has problems but he should recover quickly despite some injured muscles.”

The defender arrived at Monza on loan from Arsenal in the summer after a loan spell at Udinese last season.
