Serie A side Napoli are now close to sealing a move for Sampdoria defender Bartosz Bereszynski.
Bereszynski played for Poland in the FIFA World and did well while playing at left-back, even though he’s a right-back for Sampdoria. Sky Italia have reported that Napoli are already speaking to Sampdoria for Bereszynski, who has been identified as a back-up to Giovanni di Lorenzo.
The basis of the operation is an initial loan deal, with Alessandro Zanoli heading to Samp on the same terms. Contacts have become increasingly advanced and the goal is to close the swap deal by Christmas.
Another element will also be part of the move and it will see goalkeeper Nikita Contini return from his ongoing loan spell at Sampdoria and he will return to Napoli.
Having arrived at Sampdoria in January 2017, Bereszynski boasts of 179 appearances in Serie A , 14 of which have come in the current season.
