Napoli have identified Tanguy Ndombele as a potential replacement for Fabian Ruiz, who is close to leaving the Italian club for Paris Saint-Germain.
A report from La Gazzetta dello Sport discusses that Napoli Sporting Director Cristiano Giuntoli is working on a deal to bring Tanguy Ndombele to Napoli. The report claims that the Naples-based side is interested in signing the former Lyon star on a season-long loan deal plus an option to buy worth โฌ30 million.
Nonetheless, the club remains reluctant to match his current salary. They donโt intend to pay him an annual salary of over โฌ2 million. The midfielder earns a net salary of โฌ8 million per season at Tottenham Hotspur. Therefore, he will have to take a significant pay cut to join the Serie A side.
The report understands that the 25-year-old Frenchman is keen on proving his worth while playing for a Champions League side. And thatโs why he could fancy the chances of playing for Napoli even if he doesnโt get what he is currently earning at the Premier League club.ย
