Napoli join Milan in the race for Sassuolo winger

Napoli want to strengthen their wing next summer, with Lorenzo Insigne leaving the club and uncertainty hovering over the future of Hirving Lozano.

A report from Il Mattino understands that Napoli have entered the race to sign Domenico Berardi from Sassuolo this summer. As per the story, Napoli will also monitor Sassuolo’s youngsters, including Gianluca Scamacca and Giacomo Raspadori.

Although the report mentions the names of Scamacca and Raspadori, the emphasis has been put on Berardi. The winger has been heavily linked with a move to Milan in the summer, with Stefano Pioli understandably keeping tabs on the 27-year-old for a long time.

Juventus have reportedly identified Raspadori as a long-term replacement for Paulo Dybala, while Milan and Inter are considering making a move for Scamacca. Napoli’s entry into the transfer battle could spice up the circumstances.
