Napoli have made contact for the signing of Kim Min-Jae from Fenerbahce and the contact has been positive.
Kalidou Koulibaly is set to join Chelsea, with the medical expected to take place today. But the Partenopei are yet to find a replacement for the Senegal international.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that positive contacts have taken place with Fenerbahce for Kim, with the Partenopei now trying to beat competition from Rennes this summer. Fenerbahce have previously put a clause of €20 million on the player but Napoli are working to find an agreement on a fee which is lower than that.
The player has given his priority to signing for Napoli but he wants to make his decision quickly, so that he does not leave Rennes waiting for too long. That is because if the Napoli move doesn’t go through, Rennes can get put off by the saga and move on to other targets.
