Following a fantastic start to the 2022/23 campaign, Napoli have verbally agreed on a deal to extend the contract of midfielder Stanislav Lobotka.
According to what is reported by Gianluca di Marzio, Lobotka will put pen to a four-year contract extension at Napoli. It is also understood that the contract will include an option for a fifth year.Â
As claimed by Di Marzio, the signing of the contract extension will take place between the end of October and the beginning of November. However, the exact date to complete the proceedings has not been set yet.
In the new contract, the 27-year-old Slovak international will receive €3 million per year. For the fifth year, though, he has agreed to a salary of €2.5 million plus bonuses of €200,000. Since the start of the campaign, Lobotka has made ten appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side. He has played a crucial part in a team that currently stands first on the Serie A points table.
