Napoli are struggling to renew the contracts of the club duo Fabian Ruiz and Kalidou Koulibaly.
Il Mattino have reported today that the Partenopei’s mission to hand new deals to both the players is difficult now because of the finances. Aurelio de Laurentiis will have a meeting with the agents of both the players to discuss the contracts.
Koulibaly currently earns €6 million per season and handing him a similar wage will not be easy at all. They will not be able to meet that fee.
As for Fabian Ruiz, Everton and Newcastle United are mentioned as options for the players and the Partenopei will not be able to keep him if those clubs approach him. Despite all the difficulties, Napoli will make attempts.
