Napoli trying to beat Juventus for Poland World Cup star Jakub Kiwior

Napoli are now trying to beat Juventus in the chase to sign Spezia and Poland defender Jakub Kiwior in January.

The defender did well for the Poles in the World Cup and perhaps showed that he can play at a pretty good level in an international tournament.

Daniele Longo has reported that while many Premier League clubs like Kiwior, Milan have previously tried to make enquiries for him too. Juventus have also tried to sign the player but their ongoing legal problems will hold them back from making a move for him this January.

Cristiano Guintoli will now try to sign the Pole in January, with Spezia having previous frozen any talks for the player because of the World Cup. They now value Kiwior at €20 million, which is higher than the previous valuation of €15 million. As things stand, Napoli are quite serious for him regarding a January move.
