Napoli’s Osimhen: “Our objective can still be the Scudetto.”

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has stated that the Partenopei can still think about winning the Scudetto, following the club’s 2-0 win over Venezia in Serie A.

Osimhen made his first start for the club since he picked up his eye injury against Inter and he scored in his first start since, with Andrea Petagna also grabbing a stoppage time goal to double the lead. As a result of the win, Napoli climbed to second in Serie A – above Milan.

After the game, Osimhen spoke to DAZN and talked about his performance and the club’s future this season.

He stated: “I felt good from the beginning after so many days. I’m back, I was convinced I could play a great match. It wasn’t easy, we faced a great opponent and in the end we won. “

When asked about the title race, he stated: “We think game after game, the goal can also be the Scudetto.”

Napoli’s next game will see them play Inter and a win will take them to the top of the league for the time being, as Inter will have a game in hand.
