Newcastle joined by two other Premier League clubs for Milan-bound Sven Botman

Sven Botman is interested in making a move away from Lille this summer, with a plethora of clubs competing for his valuable services in the market.

As reported by Daniele Longo, Botman’s intention to join Milan in the summer has not changed despite the skyrocketing interest from Newcastle United in the Dutchman.

The journalist also claims that two other English teams have joined the race to land the 22-year-old defender, while the Magpies have not given up on a potential transfer.

In the January transfer window, Newcastle made a desperate attempt to sign the centre-back, but their cajoling words fell on deaf ears as Botman rejected their proposal. As per the claim, the Dutchman has agreed on a deal of €3million plus bonuses per season at Milan.

The Scudetto holders are clearly leading the queue at the moment, but Newcastle are persistent. Lille will have a last word on the deal, given that the player is bound to their terms until June 2025. The Italian transfer expert believes that the next week could be decisive in the Botman saga. In recent days, it was reported that Newcastle have made a fresh attempt to sign the defender.
