Serie A side Roma could end up keeping Nicolo Zaniolo at the club this summer and talks with the player’s entourage are scheduled.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that Zaniolo’s agent and Roma met in Milan recently and the Giallorossi learnt that they have received no offers for the Italian. Their valuation for the Italian international is high and the player himself is trying to lay down foundations of a renewal.
It now seems increasingly certain that the player will stay at Roma this summer and in September, new talks are expected to take place between Roma and Claudio Vigorelli – Zaniolo’s current agent. They could well define the details of a potential renewal at the club.
Zaniolo impressed in Roma’s Serie A opener against Salernitana and while he couldn’t score, he showed sparkles of brilliance while playing alongside Paulo Dybala and Tammy Abraham. Tottenham were said to be interested in the player.
