Nottingham Forest set to sign Atalanta’s Remo Freuler

Newly promoted Premier League side Nottingham Forest are now set to sign Atalanta midfielder Remo Freuler.

Marco Conterio has provided an update about the situation of Freuler, days after it was reported that the English side was in talks for the Swiss star.

It is stated that the transfer has now been closed last night and sale is set to go through this summer. The total fee of the operation will be €12 million including all bonuses, with a three-year contract already pretty much ready for the midfielder.

It is expected that the Swiss midfielder will arrive in England today afternoon to undergo a medical at the club and he will then sign a contract and officially sign as a Forest player. Freuler was said to be the club’s key midfield target this summer.

The 30-year-old has been a vital part of La Dea’s system under Gian Piero Gasperini for a long while now.
