OFFICIAL | Juventus board resign following financial irregularities case

It is the end of an era as the Juventus board has resigned, with Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved now leaving the club.

The Bianconeri have been at the centre of a legal battle involving a capital gains and money laundering case, in which both Agnelli and Nedved have been involved and the same stands true for Tottenham’s Fabio Paratici.

With Nedved and Agnelli gone, Maurizio Arrivabene will take temporary charge the Turin side and the decision is expected to have massive repercussions at the Old Lady, who have now confirmed the news.

Journalist Romeo Agresti had reported that an emergency meeting was held at the club that led to the decision of the resignations. The meeting took place earlier today and this was also reported by both Rai Sport and Sky Italia.

The club have confirmed that the resignations came following the accusations of financial irregularities and they also confirm that Maurizio Scanavino is set to hold a position at the club.
