Roma have sealed the capture of former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic.
The Giallorossi had been initially approached by the entourage of the midfielder, even before the Serbian had departed Manchester United at the end of the Premier League season.
The Roman outfit have now announced the signing of the midfielder, who arrives for free and he will sign an initial one-year deal with the reigning UEFA Conference League champions.

Matic had arrived for his medical at the club yesterday and he had actually brought the medical forward. His medical was successful and he signed a deal with the club earlier today. He will earn €3.5 million per season and has an option to sign a one-year extension.
Jose Mourinho had requested for Matic’s signing, having worked with him at both United and Chelsea. Matic was also keen on working with the Portuguese, having won the Premier League under him.
