Paris Saint-Germain interested in Serie A star Gianluca Scamacca

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca.

While Scamacca has been linked with a host of clubs in Italy and abroad, Sky Italia have reported about Paris Saint-Germain’s apparent interest in the Italy international. It has also been reported that PSG’s new sporting director Luis Campos was in Milan earlier today for talks regarding the striker with his entourage.

Arsenal were recently linked with the striker but their offer was pegged back. It was stated that the player doesn’t want to leave Italy, while other reports had claimed that Sassuolo rejected the move as they want more cash in the deal. The two Milan clubs have also been linked with the player, who impressed for Gli Azzurri against Germany recently.

Scamacca found the back of the net 16 times in Serie A during the 2021/22 season and this came after his loan spell at Genoa during the 2020/21 campaign. Sassuolo see Agustin Alvarez as a replacement for Scamacca, claim Sky Italia.
