Paul Pogba ‘feels no pain’ and a return to training is imminent

It has been reported that Paul Pogba has passed his latest round of fitness tests prompting Juventus staff to give him the all clear for a return to training. Pogba reportedly feels no pain and could be back in training next week.

The midfielder re-signed for Juventus in the summer after his contract at Manchester United ran out in June. However, Pogba has yet to make a single competitive appearance for his new club after picking up an injury during pre season.

The Frenchman’s return will come at a welcome time for Max Allegri who finds himself under intense scrutiny right now after a far from normal start to the season for Juventus, who find themselves effectively out of title contention after only 9 games.

It was originally L’Equipe who reported the story, with the news being pivotal for not only Juventus but France too in their hopes of retaining the coveted World Cup.

L’Equipe add that Pogba is expected to be playing games again by the end of October or early November, which is cutting it tight for the World Cup, however if he makes it, he will be a huge bonus for Les Bleus in Qatar.

In Pogba’s absence, Adrien Rabiot has been playing in the position the 29-year-old will be expecting to jump into. Juve fans will be excited to see ‘PP’ back in the famous black and white, as he still holds quite a reputation from his breakthrough performances all those years ago.
