Serie A | PLAYER RATINGS: Torino 0-3 Roma

Goals from Tammy Abraham and Lorenzo Pellegrini charged Roma to a 3-0 victory against Torino, with Jose Mourinho’s men securing their Europa League qualification for the next season.

Going into the match, Roma were expected to show more urgency. Yet, Torino made a better start, pushing back the Giallorossi defence in the opening minutes.

Abraham drew the first blood in the 33rd-minute of the game, with an awkward slip from David Zima making it easy for the Englishman to wriggle past the defensive bodies and fire the ball home.

A few minutes later, it was Abraham drawing a penalty inside the penalty box. The former Chelsea man took the spot-kick himself, subsequently extending the lead for the visitors and becoming the first Englishman to score the most goals (17) in a single Serie A campaign.

Nicolo Zanilo, who had entered the pitch as a second-half substitute, provided Roma with their second penalty of the night. But this time, Pellegrini stepped up and blasted it past Etrit Berisha to make the scoreline 3-0 in favour of the Giallorossi. An Ivan Juric side without Bremer ran into the heaviest defeat of their 2021/22 campaign. Here are the player ratings from Toro’s imperfect end to the season.
