Real Madrid’s Asensio tops Milan’s wishlist that includes Chelsea’s Ziyech

Milan will look to complete a massive overhaul in their attacking department this summer, with players like Marco Asensio, Hakim Ziyech, and Charles De Ketelaere topping the shortlist.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Marco Asensio remains the top target for Milan. However, the Spaniard’s asking salary of around €6 million is causing headaches in the Rossoneri camp.

On top of the player’s exorbitant demands in regard to the salary, Real Madrid are also looking for a transfer fee of around €20 million for the creative playmaker.

With Asensio’s current contract in the Spanish capital expiring next summer, the asking price for the player is considered too high by the Italian club.

Besides Asensio, Milan have been keeping tabs on Club Brugge’s Charles De Ketelaere for some time now. He is thought to be the focal point of the project untaken by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara.

To land the Belgium international, Milan will need a purse of €30 million. On the wishlist, De Ketelaere is followed by Noa Lang.

There have also been fresh interest in Hakim Ziyech from the Rossoneri, with the Blues being open to letting go of the former Ajax playmaker on a season-long loan deal. As reported previously, Milan want to include an obligation to buy in the potential Ziyech deal.

While the Moroccan remains a real prospect for the Milan club, signing Dybala could prove to be difficult as the club will not be able to take advantage of the growth decree.
