Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic is currently at the top of Fiorentina’s shortlist for striker targets.
Alfredo Pedulla has reported that while Andrea Pinamonti is also a name on La Viola’s shortlist, Jovic’s name has crept up the considerations of the side. Contacts between the entourage of the striker and Fiorentina are currently active, especially considering the club’s good relations with Real Madrid and Fali Ramadani.
Fiorentina will not sign Krzysztof Piatek permanently and that decision is pretty much made, meaning that they will need another striker alongside Arthur Cabral.
Real have opened up to the possibility of loaning out the Serbian and negotiations between the two clubs are about to take place. Fiorentina are considering the striker seriously as an option and they could be willing to offer a wage of €6 million per season.
Jovic has become only a bit-part player at Real and he spent the second half of the 2020/21 season on loan at his former club Eintracht Frankfurt.
