Roma are edging close to sealing their deal for Lille’s Zeki Celik.
The Giallorossi are looking to sign a right-back this summer to rotate in that role with Rick Karsdorp and it looks like Celik could be that player.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that negotiations between the two clubs are continuing. Lille have not backed away from their request of €8 million per season but Roma have now come close to meeting that demand. The Roman outfit have become willing to pay €7 million per season and some bonuses on the top of it.
They are also willing to hand a percentage of future resale to Lille for the player and optimism is now filtering through from the deal. They are also still trying to sign Davide Frattesi, with a meeting with Sassuolo scheduled for later this week and the Neroverdi want €30 million for the midfielder currently.
