Roma could end up signing another midfielder this summer following the news surrounding Georginio Wijnaldum’s injury.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported about the situation of Wijnaldum, claiming that the injury is serious and following the problem, Jose Mourinho was on the phone with Tiago Pinto right away to talk about potential market opportunities.
The budget right now is said to be quite tight and the opportunities for the signings have to be reliable ones. Pinto has started looking around for potential signings.
One credible option seems to be that of Florian Grillitsch, who is now a free agent following his exit from Hoffenheim. Juventus’ Denis Zakaria is also a suggestion but the salary costs for that will be very expensive for that move. Monaco had come forward for the midfielder but no developments have taken place on that front.
But there’s a feeling that they would need another midfielder this summer.
