Roma expected to launch January move for Sassuolo’s Davide Frattesi

Serie A side Roma are expected to launch a January move for Sassuolo midfielder Davide Frattesi, who is a product of the Giallorossi academy.

Marco Conterio has reported about the situation of the Italy international, stating that Sassuolo would be ready to sell him in the January transfer window. And Roma, who are still struggling with the fitness issues surrounding Georginio Wijnaldum, are looking for a midfielder in the January window.

Frattesi is a clear request from Jose Mourinho and Sassuolo, who have always been quite attentive to several Roma players in the past, are keeping an eye on Edoardo Bove. He is a target for them, regardless of whether Roma move for Frattesi or not.

Roma could look to loan Frattesi in now and then sign him permanently in the summer, with the player also keen and interested in a move. Sassuolo know all of it well and are interested in selling him in January.
